Transferring a Domain Name

If you have already registered a domain name through another domain registrar company, then you can either update your name server information or transfer your entire domain to us.

To simply update your name server information at your current domain register company, than go to their web site and look for an area where you can login and manage your account.  Once you login, look for a link that will either say "Change Name Server Information" or "Modify DNS information".  Once you get to this area, remove your current name servers and add the following name servers:

ns.myhostingadmin.com
209.61.153.1

ns2.myhostingadmin.com
209.61.153.2

(Note: In most cases you will only need to use the ns.myhostingadmn.com, and the ns2.myhostingadmin.com and not the IP address numbers. However we have provided them in case you need both)

If you would like to transfer your entire domain to Omninet Hosting, to take advantage of our low renewal fees this may be a good option for you.  You may only transfer a domain name if it is not due to expire under 60 days.  To transfer a domain simply go to our domain management area and click on "Transfer A Domain Name" at the top and then follow the instructions (see screen shot below).
